Duration: 5 Nights / 6 Days
Destination Covered: Bangkok • Pattaya

Some trips feel like ticking boxes. This one doesn’t. This feels like late nights, salty sea breeze, random street food stops, and that strange happy tiredness you get when every day is packed and still you don’t want it to end.

itinerary

Day 1 – Touchdown & Bangkok Vibes

Land in Bangkok and boom — humidity hugs your face like a warm welcome. Hotel check-in, quick freshen-up, and then honestly… just step outside. The city instantly grabs your attention. Neon lights starting to glow, tuk-tuks zig-zagging like they own the roads, the smell of grilled satay everywhere. Evening free to wander. Maybe explore a night market or sit by the river. Slow start, but it felt right.

Day 2 – Temples, Culture & City Chaos

Breakfast, then full day of sightseeing that actually surprised me. Grand Palace, Wat Pho with the massive reclining Buddha, Gems Gallery for that little sparkle moment. Each place hit differently.

Cities are loud, but those temples? Silent in the best way.

Evening — shopping time. MBK or Siam Paragon depending on mood: bargain hunting or luxury daydreaming.

Day 3 – Bangkok to Pattaya & Tropical Mood Shift

After breakfast, road trip to Pattaya. Only a couple of hours but the atmosphere changes fast — buildings fade, beaches appear. Check into the hotel and breathe.
Later, hop onto a speedboat for the Coral Island tour. White sand, turquoise water, optional water sports if your energy level allows. Parasailing looked wild… I watched (no regrets).

Night brings the legendary Alcazar Show — glitter, colors, perfect performances. Not even cheesy. Just wow.

Day 4 – Nong Nooch Gardens & City Fun

Morning to one of my favorite spots — Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. Landscaped pathways, cultural dance shows, elephant performances. Honestly peaceful… felt different than regular tourist stops.

Afternoon: Pattaya city tour — view point stops, beaches, a bit of local shopping.
Evening free to explore Walking Street. Loud, flashy, chaotic… but weirdly entertaining to just walk through it once.

Day 5 – Back to Bangkok & Last-Minute Adventures

Drive back to Bangkok. Check-in, rest for a bit because yes… shopping round two is mandatory.

Platinum Mall or street shopping near Pratunam — clothes, souvenirs, the stuff you didn’t know you needed until you saw it. Street snacks in between, obviously.

Day 6 – Goodbye, Thailand

Breakfast. Bags packed heavier than they arrived. Airport transfer and goodbye to a trip that honestly felt longer than six days — in a good way.
